The Museum District Association will host a town hall meeting for the neighborhood on Wednesday, March 8th. The topic is Richmond Rapid Transit and its Effects. When the BRT comes to our community, development will follow. Even if you are not a bus rider, you will benefit knowing about the changes not only to the entire region but to our neighborhood. Learn about improved transit to jobs and housing, bus routes changes (positive and negative) and zoning changes along the corridor. Representatives from RVA Rapid Transit and the City of Richmond will be present.
The MDA works with like community organizations and the City of Richmond to ensure your voice is heard. Town Hall Meetings provide a forum for you to learn more, ask questions and provide input. Please plan to attend these important meetings which are open to all residents and business owners in the Museum District. For planning purposes, please let us know when you plan to attend.
This forum allows the MDA Board of Directors to better understand what is important to residents and business owners. Representatives from the Police Department, Fire Department, and our elected officials are always invited.
