Would you like to serve on the MDA Board of Directors?
The need is real and the time is now!
The MDA is looking for volunteers willing to be considered for a post on the MDA Board of Directors. The MDA Board tries to stay on its toes and proactively fill vacancies so that there is no disruption in our ability to stay true to our mission.
The majority of our board, a solid group of veterans, is remaining for next year, but we are in need of new members to take responsibility for some areas. If you would like to help by chairing the Public Safety, Membership, Programs, or Public Relations committees, your help is needed and the earlier we can begin discussing your new role with you, the smoother the transition will be for next year. National Night Out - Tuesday, August 4
Neighbors: It is that time of year again to take a bite out of crime. Please consider hosting a party or event for National Night Out and enjoy a night out with your friends and neighbors.
The 26th annual National Night Out is Tuesday, August 4. Please help us celebrate by hosting or attending an event in our neighborhood! National Night Out was introduced in 1984 as a unique crime and drug prevention event and as a way to promote neighborhood unity and police-community partnerships, and it is a great way to make sure the Museum District remains a safe neighborhood.
